This is another good video. There is also some things on it that I do not agree with, but overall it is a good video. 

This is one of my 5 month old puppies who belongs to someone who is his forever home. He is a rare light wheaten liver nose that also has a brown colored mask. They taught him to ring to door bell when he needs to go outside. Now that should answer the question "are they easy to train" it depends on you, the more you put into them the more reward you get in return.
